As I gradually move from the newsletter editor's chair, Eric and I thought it could be time to thank some folks for more than twenty years of LEARA support of Amateur Radio at Gilmour Academy (GA). The January LEARA meeting will give us that chance.

Our program to start off 2015 on January 27th at MiMi's includes an honor roll of some pioneers who made Amateur Radio viable at GA, a timeline of events, activities the ND8GA club has sponsored, and the sequence of development of the station. Where school amateur radio is going, or ought to go, will also be part of this evening's reflection.

On Tuesday, January 27th we will meet at MiMi's, 7528 Broadview Road, Parma for our dinner meeting. Dinner is at 6:30 pm and is all inclusive (including taxes/tip!) for $15 per person, payable when you arrive. Dinners all include non-alcoholic beverage, salad bar, soup and dessert, and one of the following entrees: marinated chicken breast, roast beef, baked white fish, or rigatoni and meatballs.

Please make your reservations for your entree choices no later than on Monday, January 26th at 9:00 am to the LEARA website or to Marv Grossman (440-248-0031). We hope to see you at the meeting on Tuesday, January 27th! Ken, KG8DN
