If You Think You Know SDR,
YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' YET!
Says Dave Kennett, W8KFJ

Hear him May 31, 2016 during the meeting at the Middleburg Heights Community Center 16000 Bagley Road

Our resident guru on Software Defined Radio technology returns to the microphone and the display to bring us up to speed. Dave Kennett, W8KFJ, will begin with a brief history of the SDR advances from 2003 to the present, demonstrate some of his equipment, and reveal some of the future trends.

"Before you invest in your next rig, make sure you know the various options," Dave comments. "I have been working in this area for over ten years, and there is a lot to know."

The meal will be catered by "Mr. Mike's Catering." Your $20 for dinner will provide a buffet consisting of salad, green beans, rolls, buttered noodles, beef stroganoff, and roast chicken. Soft drinks will be provided. There is no need to specify your entrée when you register.

You may attend the meeting only, sometime after 7:30, but if you want dinner at 6:30, please place your dinner reservation by NOON on FRIDAY, May 27th using the dinner reservation page located as usual at www.LEARA.org, or by calling Marv, W8AZO, at 440-248-0031.

The Middleburg Heights Community Center is on Bagley Road about a half-mile east of I-71. The meeting will end by 9:00 pm, and the building will close about 9:20.
